Should I use the APK, the iPhone app or H5?
On an Android phone, use the APK: it opens straight from your home screen. On iPhone, use Get it on iPhone. If you can't or don't want to install anything, use the H5 web version in your browser instead.
Why does my phone say the APK might be harmful?
Android shows this warning for any app downloaded outside Google Play, not just Winbox. If you got the file from a link you trust and the name ends in .apk, you can continue. If you are not sure where the file came from, delete it and download again.
Where did the APK file go after I downloaded it?
Android saves it in your Downloads folder. Open the Files or My Files app, go to Downloads, and tap the file whose name ends in .apk. You can also open it from your browser's download list.

What do I do when Play Protect warns me?
Play Protect checks every APK installed from a file rather than from an app store. If you downloaded the Winbox APK from a link you trust, tap More details, then Install anyway. If you don't see that option, the file may be damaged, so delete it and download it again.

Usually one of three things: an older Winbox app on the phone that conflicts with the new file, a download that didn't finish, or not enough free storage. Uninstall the old app, free some space, then download the APK again on a stable connection.

Download the new APK from the same link and install it over the old one. Android asks whether you want to update the existing app: tap Update or Install. Your account stays the same, because it isn't stored in the app.

iPhone
Installing on iOS, and what to do when it won't start.
Why do I need to open the link in Safari?
In-app browsers, like the ones inside WhatsApp, Telegram or Facebook, often block installs. Safari shows the install prompts properly. If you tapped the link inside a chat app, copy it and paste it into Safari.
I tapped Get it on iPhone and nothing happened. What now?
Check that you are in Safari and that your connection is working, then tap the button again. If it still doesn't start, restart your iPhone and try once more. If that fails, use the H5 web version in Safari instead.

It can be. The iPhone install method can change, and the wording differs between iOS versions. Follow the on-screen install and trust prompts. If you are unsure about a prompt, stop and use the H5 web version instead.
Can I use H5 on iPhone instead of installing the app?
Yes. Open the H5 web version in Safari and log in. You can add it to your Home Screen from Safari's Share menu, so it opens from an icon like an app.

Can I play without installing anything?
Yes. The H5 web version runs in your phone or computer browser. Tap Play on H5, log in, and you are in. It is also the simplest option if the APK will not install on your phone.
Do I use the same account on H5 and in the app?
In most cases, yes. You log in to H5 with the same username and password you use in the app. You don't need a separate account for each.
Is adding H5 to my home screen the same as installing the app?
No. It adds a shortcut that opens the H5 web version in your browser. Nothing is installed, so it uses almost no storage, and you always get the latest version when it loads.

Do I register in the app or on H5?
Either works. Open the Winbox app or the H5 web version, tap Register, and follow the steps. Once you have an account, you can log in on both.
Register step by stepI forgot my password. What do I do?
Use the forgot password option on the Winbox login screen if you see one. If you don't, contact Winbox customer service from the app or H5. Winbox MY Club can't see or reset accounts.
Someone offered to register an account for me. Is that safe?
No. Register yourself, on your own phone, with your own number. Never share your password or the one-time code (OTP) sent to your phone, even with someone who says they are from support.
